JAIPUR: In a major reshuffle in the police department, the state government on Monday transferred 75 IPS officers, including seven ADGs, 14 IGs, eight DIGs, 40 SPs and six ASPs. The transfers come ahead of the state polls slated later this year. Dinesh MN, who had led the team that found fugitive Anand Pal Singh who was later killed in an encounter, will take charge as the new ADG (crime). He replaces Ravi Prakash Meharda, who will now take charge as director general (civil rights and cyber crime) with promotion. Others who got new postings with promotion included Junga Srinivas Rao who will take charge as DG (training). Transfers of ADG-rank officers included Prashakha Mathur, who will take charge as ADG (police reorganisation and rules), Susmit Bishwas will be the new ADG (state human rights commission). Sanjib Kumar Narzary will take charge as ADG (community policing, Vishal Bansal to be ADG, armed battalion, Bipin Kumar Pandey to be ADG, police welfare. IPS Dinesh MN posted as ADG, Crime; 75 IPS transferred in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: The department of personnel (DoP) issued an order transferring 75 IPS officers in Rajasthan, including the ADG Crime and SPs of 18 districts. Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehra was removed from the post of ADG Crime and assigned to ADG Civil Rights in the order issued by Joint Secretary, DoP Devendra Kumar. ADG ACB Dinesh MN has been given a major responsibility, as the ADG ACB has been transferred to ADG Crime. Additionally, Jodhpur Range IGP P Ram has been assigned the task of ADG security, and the Superintendents of Police in 18 Rajasthan districts have been transferred.
